Tivissa, inland, on the Ebro River, is a town steeped in history and with a genuine character. Its old town has great appeal and is very well preserved. Streets and alleys intertwined with charm and mystery, entrance portals to the fortified enclosure, casalicis from about 500 years ago, the Market Square where the trials were held and the old castle, are some of the most emblematic spaces of this medieval town. Its surroundings also have a strong personality and spaces of great historical interest, such as the Iberian village of Castellet de Banyoles, a point from where the Iberians controlled the Ebro River.<\/p>
