Tivissa, inland, on the Ebro River, is a town steeped in history and with a genuine character. Its old town has great appeal and is very well preserved. Streets and alleys intertwined with charm and mystery, entrance portals to the fortified enclosure, casalicis from about 500 years ago, the Market Square where the trials were held and the old castle, are some of the most emblematic spaces of this medieval town. Its surroundings also have a strong personality and spaces of great historical interest, such as the Iberian village of Castellet de Banyoles, a point from where the Iberians controlled the Ebro River.

Darmós is a town that administratively depends on the municipality of Tivissa, already in the Priorat region. An eminently agricultural town, its wines belong to the Montsant Designation of Origin and have a good name, prestige and quality. Visiting wineries and wine tourism is one of its strengths.

Llaberia

Llaberia is a delightful village that deserves a visit, although getting there requires patience. Belonging to the municipality of Tivissa, Llaberia is currently uninhabited, although it is not an abandoned village, quite the opposite. Most of the houses are perfectly preserved and are inhabited, even if only seasonally. A typical rural village that lived from the exploitation of the mountain until half a century ago, Llaberia is of medieval origin and this is noticeable in the church and throughout the town. Mediterranean mountain in its purest form.
