Guided tours of the heritage of Vandellòs Hospitalet visits, for this Easter

In the Gothic hospital, part of the remains of the Civil War Coll de Balaguer, the Oil Mill and Ca la Torre

For this Easter neighbors and visitors to the town can enjoy the heritage of the municipality of Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant, the City Council has scheduled two specific guided tours: one dedicated to Gothic hospital; and another in the remains of the Civil War.

The visit to the gothic hospital, scheduled for Saturday March 26 from 17 to 18 hours, will allow participants to hear more about this monumental complex, which dates from 1344 and has been declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest (BCIN); and admire the medieval structures still visible and the environment that could be seen from the lookout staircase has been built in one of the towers. This viewpoint is the starting point of this visit, which will be free.

Civil War on another planned route in Hospitalet de l'Infant, on 27 March, from 10 to 13 hours. It is called "The last line of defense" and includes a tour which explained that built the concentration camp prisoners and a part of the existing fortifications shown in the area. In this case, the starting point of the route will be the Centre Cultural Infant Pere, where a bus will rise to participate; and the price is 3 euros (for those under 12 years, the visit is free).

In addition to these specific guided tours, interpretation center of oil Vandellòs (known as "Moli de l'Oli de Vandellòs") every morning of Easter (except on 21 and 28 March), the 10 open at 13h, and during this time guided to this equipment where you can see the original mill machinery tours, a film of the 70s with the old mill in full operation, figures hyperrealist resin, etc. will be offered, and can also be hear the testimony of the millers who have used the mill.
