More than 500 persons have signed already in 5th Vandekames, a sports event of mountain thought to enjoy in family, which will be celebrated on Saturday, the 8th of August in Vandellòs. The organizers (the Center Tripper Serres del Mestral and the Cultural, Sports and Recreative Center of Vandellòs, with the support of the Town hall of Vandellòs i L'Hospitalet de l'Infant and of diverse entities), foresee that this number will promote even the 600, when it finishes the period of inscription (tomorrow on Wednesday, the 5th of August, to midnight) in the web www.vandekames.com

Precisely, the mayor of Vandellòs i L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, Alfonso García, has stood out the " great acceptance and social impact " of this sports event directed all, so much the major ones as the smallest. " It is very important for the municipality, because it has been consolidated, many people drag from the point of view of the organization and of the participation and allow to put in value our natural heritage ", said in the presentation of 5th Vandekames, which has taken place this Tuesday, the 4th of August in Ca La Torre in Vandellòs.

This way, in this fifth edition they will offer two new circuits, which will add to already traditional black (of 28 km), red (of 18 km), blue (of 12,5 km) and green (a tour for the children): the circuit I pray, in that the participants will face a career of ultraresistance of 85 Km; and the yellow, suitable circuit for all the public ones, of 7 km. Likewise, the infantile gimcana will be replaced with a few short careers for the smallest of the house (the Vandekids).

" The career of ultraresistance, which we have achieved that it is included in the calendar of careers of this speciality of the Federació d'Entitats Excursionistes of Catalonia, will be the hardest test of the province of Tarragona. It will have a tour of 85 km and 5.200 meters of positive difference, for a very irregular area, with many stone and this the heat and the dampness own will be added of August ', indicated Marc Fernández. The person in charge of careers of the Center Tripper Serres del Mestral has made clear also that in this modality it is foreseen that approximately ninety persons compete and that the test can manage to last up to 12 hours.
