Five hundred enrolled in the Race of the Portella de Hospitalet scheduled for Sunday March 20

A total of 500 people have enrolled in the Race of the Portella, a mountain race coming out of the sea, in l'Hospitalet del Infant and climbs the ridge coastal mountains of the municipality of Vandellòs and Hospitalet Infante, which this year will be held next Sunday, March 20. And this number of entries must be added that of the children who participate in the children's races (although you can point to www.cursalaportella.com).

This is the first time they have exhausted all dorsal one month ahead of the end of the registration period (scheduled on March 18) and that the number of entries has been higher almost double than last year, have highlighted the race organizers (the Centre Excursionista Serres del Mestral, with the cooperation of the City, the Sports and Cultural Center, Sports and Recreational Vandellòs and sponsorship of several companies).

In this issue you will have to run two circuits, one for walking and children's races. This year, as new, long career, 23.4km and 1,280 m of accumulated positive slope, form part of Mountain Racing Circuit Camp de Tarragona 2016 (more details at: www.circuitcamptgn.cat). As for the short run and walk, take a tour of 12 km and 710 m of accumulated positive slope.

The point of departure and arrival of the two races and the walk will be the Aster Sports Complex from 9 am. At this point the children's races will be played and showers, indoor pool, massage, lunch and dinner will be offered to participants.

As for trophies, in the long run, it will be for the first five classified absolute male and female, for the winner of each category and for the first male and female local absolute classified; and in the short run, for the first three male and female absolute classified and for the first male and female absolute local classifieds. The walk is not competitive.
