Week of Sustainable and Safe Mobility , under the slogan " Choose . Change . Combines "

With these activities the municipality held the Week of Sustainable and Safe Mobility, under the slogan "Choose. Change. Combines. "
As part of the celebration of the Week of Sustainable and Safe Mobility, scheduled to Catalonia from 11 to 18 October, the City of Vandellòs i  l'Hospitalet de l'Infant has organized several activities with cabbage operation of the School Mestral,  Cycling Club Hospitalet de l'Infant, the Centre Cultural, Esportiu i Recreatiu of  Vandellòs and Hiking Centre Serres del Mestral. In particular, two walks and two popular cycling
These activities will be held throughout the weekend, the nuclei of Vandellòs and Hospitalet de l'Infant:
In Hospitalet de l'Infant, on Saturday 17 October, will be the "cultural walk", a guided tour of various remnants of the Civil War Coll de Balaguer who will be in charge of the Group for Research and Investigation of Areas of the Civil War (GRIEGC). The departure time of the bus will be 10 hours before the Cultural Center Infant Pere. And at 17 pm, the council has scheduled a popular ride will begin and end in front of the Town Hall, where a snack will be offered to participants finish. This ride will debut officially the network of bike lanes recently authorized by the City Council with the aim of promoting equally safe and more sustainable mobility.
In Vandellòs, Sunday October 18, everyone is invited to take part in a popular ride and walk, which will start at 17 pm at the Drs. Gil Vernet Square. At the end of these activities, participants also be given a snack.
The main objectives of these activities, organized this year under the motto European "Choose. Change. Combine "is to promote the use of sustainable transport, particularly public transport, cycling, walking mobility and electric vehicles; promote a reunion of citizens with the town, its people and its cultural heritage in a healthy and relaxed; and reflect on how it affects our health overuse of motorized transport, among others.
