The crystal clear water and fine sand are two elements present in most of the beaches of the Costa Daurada, where you can find more than thirty blue flags. But the wealth of these beaches are not just on the surface as they have natural treasures submarines are another attraction for visitors. Thus, besides water baths and sun, there is a whole underwater world to discover.

Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant is one of the best preserved of the coast of Tarragona, with seabed harboring seagrass meadows (Posidonia) of ecologically valuable coastal zones. Posidonia is a plant with roots, stems, leaves and flowers. Besides background with Posidonia, you can also be observed background sand and rock where you can find a large number of animals and plants.

An ideal way to make this discovery is to opt for the three routes that can be done with snorkel, a cove Bea, another in the Arenal beach or last in Almadrava, all located in l'Hospitalet de l'Infant and La Vall de Llors. The snorkel allows observation of the seabed using mask, snorkel and fins optionally. Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant have created three routes with underwater panels, each of which gives information about the most characteristic species of the fund. In this way the tourist submarine underwater can read the surprises of the Mediterranean Sea.

With an extension of 2,300 meters, the Arenal beach is the largest of Hospitalet de l'Infant and which is closer to the people. Given this beach is the Nautical Costa Daurada Base, where they offer all kinds of water sports, such as sailing, kite surfing, windsurfing and guided kayak or mountain bike excursions. Beach Almadrava, of l.600 meters long, is located in the town of the same name, which has white houses that make it very unique. The area is characterized by its tranquility.
